From one room and one machine to a GMP-certified facility
Right from our humble beginnings, our goal of integrating the varied benefits of Ayurveda into the modern world of medicine has remained consistent.

1988
Where it all began
Established under the name ‘Rajson’ — working within the four walls of one room with one machine at Sayyad Pimpri.
1990
Production moves to Mhasrul

A 1,000 sq ft premise with 3 machines
•
Manufacturing of tablets, medicated oils, ghee, avleha, sugar and granules
•
Distribution in Nashik, Dhule and Jalgaon
1994
Beyond Maharashtra
Distribution began outside Maharashtra.

10 times growth in production
1996
Growing reach
Distribution extended to the cities of Kalyan & Dombivli.

Operations executed with a team of 5 members
1999
Vatsal Ayurvedic Products Pvt. Ltd.
The company was renamed Vatsal Ayurvedic Products Pvt. Ltd.

Production moved to Ozar, Nashik — a 5,000 sq ft premise
•
Major products: Shatavari Kalp, Shatadhauta, Adulsa Compound
2002
New leadership joins
Dr. Sanjeevan Deodhar (currently Managing Director) joined the team.
2005
Contract manufacturing
Introduction of systems for contract manufacturing.
2008
GMP certified
Vatsal products gain GMP certification.
2010
Capsules
Addition of capsule manufacturing.
2013–14
Exports
Exported 7 containers of liquid oral preparations.
2015
ISO & FSSAI
Vatsal products gain ISO certification.

A new chapter
Dr. Sanjeevan Deodhar takes over operations as Managing Director of VAP.
2021
Expansion
Expanded to a total of 10,000 sq ft of production area.
